NDRS at the Nitrolympx 2010

Nitrolympx started with rain and ended in same terms, unfortunaly.

But between that it was a realy good event and the Hockenheim Ring is a spectacular track to race on, offcourse. Pro Mod was a thrill beteween Troxel, Gullan and Eriksson as they was on 6.0-times alomast every round. The semifinal between Mats and Gullan inproved that thoes guys realy do their best at track every time. Mats lost with just 0.0052 sec (thats almoast nothing). Melanie was a hard nut to crack so Urban took a chans in the start but redlighted, good try anyway. So the Finals was going to be a american issue, mor or less. Gullan is pritty much supported by the Team R2B2 that is around Melanie. But that damd rain came back and ended the whole story for this time. The semifinals for Top Methanol Dragster had to be stoped just wshen the session had started. and there where it ended. The Super Classes was called of at an earlyer time as the organisators realised that they just thought they got time for FIA-classes.  But the whether is not much to fight. At the banquette and pricegiving ceremony at evening, the Nitrolympx decided to give the cups and price money to the four first qualifyed. And there was also a free dinner afterwords.

This was the first year NDRS was a part of the Nitrolympx. So the compeeters in the five classes, Pro Mod, Competition, Super Comp, Super Gas and Super Twin Top gas bike can count the point from this event. We hope we can improve the serie much better next year as the NItrolympx staff was very happy to have al the European racers there again. And they realy want us from the northen countys to come next year.

Per Erik Lindgren from , as I guess everybody knows now Piteå in Sweden, did a very good job at the track, as he always does. But he collected the winner-cup as he was qualifying as no 1 in Competition with hes four-cylinder Altered. This guy from the very north of the country was very happy for that posision. If he just could have had the last run as well he would have been even more happy. In Super Gas we got some new namnes to remember in NDRS which is realy good. Qualifying as no 1 was from Austria Werner Zudrell, 2 was Robert Jongen, Nederland and 3 was Bruno Loisel, France. New names in the serie that we hope to see more of. In Super Comp Marina Andersson from Skåne in Sweden did a realy good jobb and ended up att qualif no 1 berfore Andre Mueller Germany and Swedish Mikael Nilsson who is on the 7th place right now in the cup. The leading racer Niklas Öhlin finnished as no 4 in the list. Inthe only bike class that vas racing at Hockenheim Ring Super Twin Top Gas did the danish guy Rasmus Olesen make a good posission  as no 1 qual before Swedish Anna-Lena Asplund. As no 3 there was another Swede, Stefan Andre. As this was the last NDRS race for STTG we sen congratulations to Anna-Lena that now is the Champ of the year in this class. Well Done! This lady is a hard nut to crack.

NDRS finalerna på Alastaro inte har minimi antal på 5 tävlande i NDRS för att klassen
skall köras? Det finnss rabatter att få på Finnlink Kapellskär-Nådendal genom FHRA och svenskt campingkort.Bokningen måste göras på avd, passagerar.

Krister Uhlin let us know that there is some discount at the faries to Finland and Alastaros Finals to do by Finnlink Kanpelskär-Nådendal thru FHRA and the Swedish cmaping card. Get in contact with FHRA to sheckt his out.

Theres also no limmit of the minimum of 5 racer in each NDRS classes to compeet.

The rain stoped this years Veidec Festival so al we can present here is the qualifying no 1. But better then nothing. A few pict is also present. If I can find time I will put out some more in time...Next race is in Hockenheim for some classes and some is going to Lindesberg and Linde Open. Good Luck everyone and keep the rain away.
